The beer town of Radeberg - a place where enjoyment is at home

Radeberg has been known as the "beer town" since 2008 and this was the starting signal for the following initiatives to raise the profile of the idyllic town. This "renaming" was given a new direction, especially for the development of attractive tourist offers, in order to use the world-famous Radeberger Pilsner brewed here as an ambassador for attracting guests.

It is interesting to learn how the first German Pilsner is produced and where it comes from. On a tour of the Radeberger Exportbierbrauerei, you will learn all about the production and the tradition of brewing. A tour with tasting tells the story of the "golden" drink.

If you want to learn more about Pilsner, you should definitely visit a craft beer tasting and learn interesting facts about barley juice from all over the world. The beer town also has cultural attractions to offer, as the first Saxon dialect theatre, the "Radeberger Biertheater", has been delighting visitors with fun with beer for more than 20 years.         

The history of the town can be seen in the museum at Klippenstein Castle, which is also the starting point of the Planet Trail.
